Which brings up a very good question you may be asking yourself. Why is all this information hidden away, rarely shared, and most of all, not openly discussed by your doctor? I have my own theory.
Doctors practice medicine. So if you can't get pregnant, they assume it's a medical issue and send you to a pregnancy specialist---a fertility doctor. Who will run lots of tests, and charge you lots of money for invasive, infertility treatments.
Don't get me wrong. There is a lot of merit in infertility treatment, and I applaud the technology which allows infertile couples the ability to have children that they couldn't conceive on their own.
